The DIH network of Centers of Excellence globally unites organizations that utilize high-tech equipment in rehabilitation and have discovered innovative ways to apply these tools to help individuals recovering from severe health conditions achieve their goals. These organizations also contribute, and will continue to contribute, to the development and creation of high-tech tools. “We are pleased to welcome Haapsalu Neurological Rehabilitation Centre as the first DIH Center of Excellence in Northern Europe,” said Slavko Škafar, Senior Vice President of Sales, DIH – EMEA. “Their dedication to integrating our cutting-edge solutions into patient care not only elevates the quality of rehabilitation services in daily operations but also sets a new standard for neurorehabilitation. Today, they are an integral part of our organization’s spirit and vision.” Mari-Liis Ööpik-Loks, Member of the Board of HNRK, adds: “Signing the cooperation agreement with DIH is a historic event, because despite all our aspirations for service development, today we find ourselves in a position where we will be marked on the world map of neurorehabilitation centers as a place whose experience and practices can be learned from. This is a very proud moment.” The cooperation agreement signifies a mutual understanding that high-tech tools will be jointly developed further, and valuable experiences and best practices will be shared with colleagues who already use such equipment, as well as with those who are still hesitant or considering their adoption. The common mission of members within the DIH network of Centers of Excellence is to implement high-tech tools as effectively as possible to achieve patient rehabilitation goals.
