Brain injury very often occurs as a result of stroke, and less frequently due to brain tumors or other brain diseases. Additionally, brain injury can occur after traumas and accidents where a person’s head has been injured.<\/p>

Brain injury affects the entire human body, from motor function to cognitive skills \u2013 including thinking, attention, memory, problem-solving, etc. The extent and severity of functional impairment that arises after a brain injury can vary greatly and depends significantly on which part of the brain the damage has occurred in. It is important to know that human brain cells are plastic, meaning healthy brain cells are capable of taking over the functions of damaged brain parts to a certain extent. However, this requires comprehensive, well-considered, and long-term rehabilitation, as well as the commitment of the individual and their immediate support network. Understandably, there are also various factors influencing the functioning of plasticity \u2013 such as age, the extent of the damage, the person’s general health, their cognitive abilities, etc. \u2013 which either contribute to the success of interventions or present challenges.<\/p>

HNRK possesses modern knowledge and equipment to provide excellent rehabilitation for individuals with brain injury, both as early as possible after the injury occurs and in later recovery phases.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
