Spinal cord injury most commonly occurs as a result of various traumas and accidents: head-first dives, traffic accidents, falls. To a lesser extent, it can also result from diseases, such as spinal cord tumors, inflammatory processes in the spinal cord, and so on. <\/p>

Spinal cord injury is a complex condition that extensively affects the human body, significantly disrupting the normal course of life. The extent of paralysis resulting from a spinal cord injury depends on the level of the injury: the higher the injury, the more severe the condition and the greater the need for external assistance. Fortunately, in cases of spinal cord injury, the human brain generally remains functional, which means that with meaningful rehabilitation, thoughtful adjustments to daily activities, and a reasonable attitude towards life, it is possible to continue living. True, every person with a spinal cord injury is different, and their prospects depend on the nature of the injury, their previous health status, the existence of a support network, etc. <\/p>
